On Saturday March 25th 2017, we were the chosen wedding caterers for Sadie and Charlie who married at Tetcott Church near to Sadie’s family home and then chose the beautiful Ta Mill for their wedding reception.
The day started without a cloud in the sky and was warm considering all the cold weather we had been having, the perfect day for us to cater for a wedding. The couple chose to stay at the venue from the Friday, so many of the guests rode to church on a wonderfully restored vintage OB bus…
…they returned after to a well received glass of Pimm’s or squash for the many children that made this such a special family occasion.
The tables were set up using original, vintage china from Pippa’s vintage who are based in Wadebridge, Cornwall.
The guests sat to have an afternoon tea which was made up of finger sandwiches, homemade quiches and sausage rolls.

Along with vintage tiers which were made up of more homemade goodies such as lemon drizzle cake, chocolate eclairs, scones with clotted cream and jam and finally baby pavlova’s. These being one of the great things we love about catering for weddings as they always receive a “WOW”
In the evening Sadie and Charlie cut their cake which was made from cheese and was set on a board made by a friend,
In the evening, we served fresh battered fish and chips along with some local, butchers sausages for anyone who fancied them.
