On Saturday 28th April we were the chosen wedding caterers Nicky and Rob who married and held their reception at Huntsham Court near Tiverton. Huntsham Court is a beautiful, grand, country house set in well kept gardens.

For the wedding breakfast, we served a three course meal starting with chicken liver, brandy and thyme pate, Oaktree chutney and toasted granary bread…

…bocconcini, tomato and basil salad with rocket and homemade pesto dressing…

Launcells Barton Wedding Caterers

…and homemade butternut squash and sage soup all served with baskets of artisan breads and Devon butter for guests to help themselves.

Roast topside of Devon beef with a homemade Yorkshire pudding and a rich gravy; chicken supreme with a creamy somerset brie and smoked bacon sauce; and sweet potato, mozzarella, sun dried tomato and basil filo tart were all served for main course alongside dishes of crispy new potatoes, carrots, broccoli and green beans.

For dessert, we served sticky toffee pudding with lashings of sticky toffee sauce…

…glazed lemon tart with red berry coulis and classic creme brulee with a homemade shortbread biscuit…

…whilst guests could also help themselves to Devon clotted cream.

In the evening, we cleared the tables before leaving the happy couple and their guests to enjoy the rest of the evening.
