On Saturday 22nd July, we were the chosen wedding caterers for the wedding of Sadie and Richard in a marquee on the family farm in Bradworthy, Devon. Sadie and Richard were also celebrating being together for ten years, making this a double celebration.

Large white letters spelling ‘love’ were lit up on the edge of the dance floor and each table was decorated with a log slice and jars of flowers.

On the arrival of the guests at the marquee, we served garnished glasses of Pimm’s and lemonade, bottled beers and orange juice for the drivers and children. The wedding party arrived by vintage coach which was an albion from Carmel Coaches of Okehampton.

The marquee was decorated with flowers hanging from the roof along with pretty bunting, which looked amazing. The flowers were done by Val Shadrick from Kilkhampton.

We then poured freshly brewed English Breakfast tea and fresh filter coffee along with homemade chocolate truffles and mints.

In the evening, we served a finger buffet along with a cheese slate for guests to help themselves in between dancing on the busy dance floor. The finger buffet included freshly cut assorted sandwiches; barbecue chicken drumsticks; selection of homemade quiches, scotch eggs, sausage rolls and homemade chunky potato wedges with garlic mayonnaise

Congratulations, once again, Sadie and Richard and thank you for letting us be a part of your special day. A wonderful day for us to catch up with lots of Oaktree friends.
