Back in the depths of Winter we were privileged to be asked to cater for Tavistock Young Farmers  Annual Dinner and Dance, held in the beautiful historic town of Tavistock at the Town Hall on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in West Devon, this venue always provides us with a bit of a workout too, as the kitchen is up two flights of steps!

Devon Young Farmers

Tables Set Ready to go

A  number of our staff,  past and present over the years are members of the club, therefore we were thrilled when Ellen and Jo Abel approached us to see if we were available to cater at their annual event, being one of the very well supported Devon Young Farmers clubs in the area we were thrilled to be asked to provide the catering at this event, and its always lovely to be able to do work for our friends, and get to see them relaxing and enjoying  themselves socially for a change.

Having insider knowledge  of our most popular dishes, there were a personal requests asked for within the menu! Our homemade Thai Salmon Fishcakes being one, which was offered with  Homemade Leek and Potato Soup, Creme Fraiche and Buttery Croutons, and also Chicken Liver, Brandy and Thyme Pate with Toasts and Salad Garnish.
