Wedding Cake! The Choice is endless!
We have seen lots of different styles in our travels through Devon this summer.
Having catered at lots of weddings we think it’s fair to say anything goes, you should choose what you both like.
The ‘naked’ cake works particularly well transformed into dessert, with some extra local berries from Lifton or the Tamar Valley and lashings of Cornish Clotted Cream.
Have you thought about when you are going to cut your wedding cake? You can cut it during the wedding breakfast and serve with coffee or how about involving your evening guests and invite them for the cutting of the cake at a certain time.
Different flavoured tiers,traditional, sponge, fairy cakes, round, square, blue, white… Take a look for some inspiration… But remember it should look AND taste good!
