On Saturday 18th June we returned to the stunning Tawstock Court in North Devon, a fantastic wedding venue over looking the town of Barnstaple. Here Grace and Jack said their “I do’s” and celebrated with family and friends with a reception and disco.

It was great to return to this wonderful venue and work alongside Laura and her fab team.

Grace and Jack married in the main hall, enjoyed drinks and canapes in the grounds between the rain drops and the lounges before going to the refectory for the Wedding Breakfast.

As Jack works for Formula 1, small touches appeared all in kinds of places as a nod to this.

As the ceremony came to a close and the guests started to mingle we served Canapes. These included Sweet Potato, Ginger and Spring Onion Samosas.

Crab, Ginger and Lime Crostini with Micro Coriander. Buckwheat Blini with Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese and Fresh Dill and Red Pepper and Goats Cheese Crispy Bites with Tomato Salsa.

Mini Butchers Sausages with a Sticky Hoi Sin Glaze and Chicken Liver and Thyme Pate with Devon Chutney on Crostini with Amaranth.

After the Drinks and Canapes reception the guests were asked to take their seats in the main room for the Wedding Breakfast to Commence.

The guests tables were names after racing tracks.

All the guests received a little car and a lollipop as favours.

Once seated we served the first course of Breads and Nibbles. This consisted of Artisan Breads with Devon Butter and accompanied by Tapenade, Balsamic, Saffron Mayonnaise, Semi Sec Tomatoes and Olives.

For Main course the guests had three options; Roast Topside of Devon Beef served with a Homemade Yorkshire Pudding and a Rich Gravy.

The second option was Chicken Supreme served with a Creamy Leek, Mushroom and Bacon Sauce; while the vegetarian option was Porcini and Fresh Wild Mushroom Filo Tart with Walnut Pesto. Alongside these options we served dishes of Crispy Roast Potatoes, Carrots, Broccoli and Green Beans for the guests to help themselves.

Between Main Course and Dessert Grace and Jack had their Speeches.

Once speeches finished we served Trio Desserts. Each guest had a Dark and White Chocolate Brownie; Lemon Cheesecake with Lemon Confit and Classic Crème Brulee. To accompany this we also served bowls of Clotted Cream for the guests to help themselves too.

After the Wedding Breakfast came to a close we served Fresh Filter Coffee and Tea with Mints and Homemade Truffles from a station; which allowed the guests to start mingling again.
