On Saturday the 16th April we catered for the wedding of Kerrie and Marc at Milton Barn, on the Devon/Cornwall boarder near Bude.
After a blessing at Bude Life Saving Club the newlyweds, friends and family returned to the venue in the glorious sunshine for a relaxed afternoon in the gardens.
Each place was identified for the guests with a photo, there were some entertaining ones to say the least.
For the Wedding Breakfast the happy couple decided on Afternoon Tea. For this we served a selection of Mixed Finger Sandwiches on Freshly Cut White and Granary Breads. The sandwich fillings included Home Cooked Honey Roast Ham and Mustard; Tuna Mayonnaise and Cucumber and Tickler Cheddar and Homemade Chutney.
Alongside the Sandwiches we also served a selection of Homemade Savoury Quiches; Homemade Sausage Rolls and Bowls of Hot Baby Roasted New Potatoes, just in case we had April showers.
For the dessert side of Afternoon Tea we served Sharing Slate Platters for the guests to enjoy. Each guest had four mini desserts each which included Baby Raspberry Pavlova; Dark and White Chocolate Brownie; Lemon Cheesecake with Lemon Confit and Homemade Scones with Jam and Clotted Cream. Served the Cornish way…
To accompany Afternoon Tea with served Fresh Filter Coffee and English Breakfast Tea.
Kerrie and Marc created a truly relaxed vibe to their wedding, with drinks flowing and a fun atmosphere. Congratulations again Mr and Mrs Frost and thank you for letting us share in your day.
