Reflecting upon new wedding bookings, we have noticed that many of the new weddings are not wanting sharing menus as much due to the present pandemic situation, with passing plates of food around.
For those of you that have never considered a sharing menu, we can serve all courses like this. From a selection of fresh Devon seafood, or an Antipasto platter… Roasted meat platters to hearty winter, rich casseroles to share and a selection of dessert goodies for your guests to share.
Sharing platters had become very popular and you can have just once course served like this or all three. If you are looking for a less formal occasion and want your guests to mingle and interact then this way of service may be perfect for you – it really does seem to work well.
Of course, there is also nothing wrong with a traditional two or three course meal, and we pride ourselves on providing what customers want not what we think they should have… but it’s certainly something to think about and if you are worried about the passing of food then a plated menu or a buffet may be the way forward for you.
As your chosen wedding caterer, we have lots of ideas and love a challenge but whatever your requirements please do not hesitate to get in touch to talk them through. Sharing is Caring but it does not mean it is the right menu for the present.
For any help regarding menus please do not hesitate to contact us. We are busy taking bookings for 2022 and the odd date that we have left in 2021 should you require any catering.
