In June of this year we were chosen to provide the wedding catering for Hayley and Peter.

The setting was just perfect, a marquee set amongst the long grasses that were just tinged with pink, with paths cut out for guests to walk and the most amazing garden we have been lucky enough to work in. So many different flowers and plants and a water feature, a truly brilliant site wherever you looked. The sun also shone brightly over this pretty Devon garden.

Hayley and Peter had a selection of our homemade canapes served with Prosecco and bottled beers for the boys! Duck and Hoisin Samosas – his favourite – was requested by the groom. Following this we served traditional roast beef, a chicken breast wrapped in smoked bacon with a madeira sauce or a courgette filled with provencal vegetables topped with mozzarella. Finally we served a trio of warm apple and Devon strawberry crumble, a lemon parfait with lemon confit and a rich chocolate and salted caramel torte which really did have the WOW factor along with Devon clotted cream, all homemade as usual!

This day had a great feel, Hayley had thought of so many details which her guests will never forget and along with all the hard work that the families had put in, the day was truly amazing.

The evening went on to a band, to dance the night away and we served bacon baps with cheese and biscuits.

We thank Hayley and Peter for giving us the opportunity to be their wedding caterers and for letting us work in a great setting. Congratulations to you both.
